McLaren Elva joins the Lego Speed Champions Lineup

You won’t likely be able to afford the McLaren Elva in your lifetime. Except, of course, if you are part of the one percent. We still have the chance to buy the million-dollar McLaren brick form if you are among the great majority.

Lego has officially revealed the McLaren Elva Speed Champions set. This is not the open-top $1.69 million set. Supercar The Lego set will cost you only PS17.99, or about $25.48 if you use the current exchange rates.

The McLaren Elva Lego model was announced with the 2021 lineup. It measures 1.5 inches high, 6in (16 cm) long and 3in (7 cm) wide. This playset includes 263 pieces. It also features a minifigure created by Rachel Brown, McLaren Automotive’s Principal Developer for Ultimate Series. The figure comes complete with helmet, race suit and wrench.

The McLaren Elva Lego Model is a replica of the real thing. It doesn’t have a roof, windscreen or windows. Along with the British supercar’s two-seat cockpit, the Elva’s Active Air Management System is integrated into the build.

“I have always dreamed of driving cars and testing them, and I can’t believe it’s part of my job. It is my hope that it will inspire other young people to pursue their passions in engineering, design or automotive. Rachel Brown said, “There are so many amazing opportunities.”

Brown was also involved in the McLaren Senna GTR design, and the creation of the Lego Technic McLaren Senna GTR. This was released in January. She is responsible for the McLaren Ultimate Series’ concept to production, as well as managing elements like track and aerodynamic wind-tunnel testing.
