Meet Freedom Force One: Cleetus MCFarland’s Matching Car Carrier

Party in the back, business in the front

Cleetus McFarland is a flat-out runner, so it’s not surprising. We were not surprised when Cleetus McFarland bought a NASCAR-caliber car carrier for towing behind his Toter home. The new setup will allow Cleetus and Co., just like they do in professional racing teams to streamline their work flow at the shop and on the track.

Every car enthusiast and racer knows that it is impossible to only have one project vehicle. The new trailer, affectionately called Freedom Force One, allows Cleetus up to four freedom-machines for any track worth driving to.

McFarland, Cleetus and Cars showed us how to load four race cars into a trailer for the 2021 TX2K21 drag racing event at Houston Raceway Park. He also brought his two slownovas and Ruby. Although the ability to fit four cars into a trailer is impressive, it’s incredibly simple to do this with such high-quality equipment.

The 2021 Renegade Home Toter motorhome is at the front of this rig. It is smaller than other models but offers excellent power and comforts. The 950-cubic inch (15.6-liter), inline-six diesel engine under the hood produces 600 horsepower (447 Kilowatts) as well as 2,000 foot-pounds (2712 newton meters) at just 1,000 rpm. Cleetus claimed that it can tow almost anything and he is probably correct. This isn’t the average Ford F-450 Dually you see at the Saturday-night run-what-you’ve-brung events at your local drag strip.

It’s easy to see that the Toter home is equipped with all the necessary bells and whistles from the cockpit. It has a lockable axle and adjustable suspension height. Garmin also supplies the latest navigation equipment. Although we could go on, Cleetus clearly will not be able to make excuses for participating in the 2021 races around the United States.
