Mercedes-AMG marks the end of an important year with a new video. The clip concludes with a teaser about what’s in store for 2020. The upcoming GT 73 speeds into a new year with the message “We define performance.According to some reports, the GT 73 will be the production version AMG GT Concept. It will also be the top-of-the-line model. The engine will be the same as in other models, but it will also have a twin-turbo V8 of 4.0-liter capacity. However, this model will receive an additional boost from an electric motor at its rear. The battery should be big enough to allow for a few miles of fully-electric driving.
The setup will produce around 800 horsepower (597kilowatts ), which is a significant upgrade to the GT63 S’ 630hp (470kW). It is possible that the gearbox will be modified from the nine-speed unit.
The GT 73 should offer a significantly higher power output than the GT 63 S. This will ensure that the GT 73’s performance is quick. Expect acceleration of 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) to be within the range of two seconds. High-tech all-wheel drive systems should offer plenty of grip in corners.
