Mercedes EQS SUV Found In Parking Lot With Its Interiors Showing

This is our first look at EVs since April, when their sedan counterpart was introduced.

It was literally covered in snow when we last saw the Mercedes EQS SUV. The electric people mover was seen zipping past the camera in wintertime testing. He was wearing a camo wrap that covered his details. the EQS sedan debuted around-the-world in December. We know that there will be shared features between these two EV flagships. These new spy photos prove it.

This time, we don’t have many photos to share – only seven. The exterior is still covered in camouflage and fake panels. There are also placeholder taillights at its back. The grille and headlights of the SUV are very similar to the sedan’s, even though it isn’t wrapped. Mercedes’ big, smiling face and cab-forward design at the EQS debut are obvious even with grille wrap. We also know that the rectangular cutout at the fender is almost certain. The fill location for windshield washer fluid It is as bizarre as it sounds.

The interior is of greater importance this time. The prototype was taken with the windows open, so our spy photographer had the chance to look inside. The door panels and some parts of the dash were covered, but enough was visible to reveal a nearly identical glass cockpit arrangement as in the EQS sedan. The digital instrument screen and large center screen are clearly visible, but it’s possible that there is a passenger screen hidden on the far side. We’d also double down on the fact that all screens are contained behind a single flush design, which is identical to the sedan.

We aren’t expecting the SUV to make its debut anytime soon, despite the sedan’s recent appearance. Mercedes expects to have 10 electric vehicles within its fleet by 2022. The EQS SUV will be released towards the end. It could debut late in the year or early next year, as a model 2023.
