Mitsubishi Vision Ralliart Concept Revealed – All Show without Extra Go

The Outlander Ralliart Style will join it at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022.

Mitsubishi reintroduced the Ralliart brand in May 2021 after more than a decade. It included a Triton pickup truck as part of its FY2020 financial reports. A few months later, Ralliart was introduced in Thailand as a Sport with a lot of stickers. Mitsu prepared two more Ralliart projects for the Tokyo Auto Salon. However, they are equally disappointing.

The Vision Ralliart Concept is a modified Outlander with a more aggressive body kit thanks to wider fenders on both axles. The fake upper grille features a honeycomb pattern, and the vehicle has a larger lower intake than the standard SUV. To fill the bulging arches, the vehicle has 22-inch wheels. This allows for more space for six-piston calipers and larger rotors. The only mechanical improvement over the standard version is the brakes.

The large, rectangular diffuser that we first saw in a teaser last Month has the Ralliart emblem. It is positioned at the back to create the appearance of an Outlander with a faster speed. If Mitsubishi is imagining the Outlander-based Vision Ralliart concept as an electric SUV, then it would have made sense to place two large exhaust tips at the corners.

It will be sharing the spotlight at 2022 TAS alongside the Outlander Ralliart Style. It’s outfitted with accessories that mimic an SUV-like performance. We are essentially dealing with body decals, red accents and mud flaps for the PHEV version.

We hope that this timid attempt to revive Rallairt is followed by more substantial upgrades than just visual tweaks. Mitsubishi will display the Ralliart pair at the Tokyo Auto Salon starting January 14, with the first press day, and ending January 16, when the last public day.
