The two-tone look is back.
The Ford F-250 Highboy, for truck enthusiasts, was a high point in pickups from the 1960s to the 1970s. This moniker was created by truck enthusiasts and is returning for 2020. However, it’s not coming directly from Ford. The 2020 Ford Super Duty comes from Long McArthur Ford, Salina, Kansas. It translates the classic truck’s appearance onto a modern one. To create unique pickup options, the dealer blends factory equipment and options with a variety of aftermarket parts.
A front suspension lift is an addition to the Long McArthur Ford. The dealer chose a Rough Country two inch lift for this package. This gives the tires of BF Goodrich T/A Ko02 35 inches and the 18-inch Pro Comp polished wheels of BF Goodrich Pro Comp plenty of space. The side features a two-tone graphic that incorporates a subtle Highboy logo. The truck’s classic look is enhanced by a KC polished rolling bar and KC Daylighter lamps. They can be controlled via a button on its dash. The truck’s look is completed with window tint and a spray in bed liner.
Long McArthur Ford purchased three Super Duty Highboy Packages Trucks All regular cab XL trucks are eligible for the STX package. The STX pack includes several visual enhancements such as a chrome grille, chrome bumpers at the front and rear, and chrome vents at the fender ends. Long’s trucks feature Ford’s 7.3-liter V8, Power Equipment Group, cloth seats and roof clearance lights. Tow mirrors are also included. If customers want something more, the dealer can help them build it.
The Super Duty High Boy package costs $8,495. It includes a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. The truck’s cost is not covered by this warranty. Long’s Highboy pickups are priced at approximately $45,000, for reference. Every Highboy receives a serialized dash plaque as well as a certificate proving authenticity.
