This hot hatch is amazing.
The Audi RS3 hot hatch is a powerful, all-wheel-drive vehicle. But this one is more special. The 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder produces 666 horsepower (or 675 metric horses) and 590 pound feet (590 Newton-meters). Tuning increases the power output. The stock output is 395 HP (294 kW, 400 metric horsepower) and 354 Lb-ft (384 Nm).
This tuned Audi exhaust can sound amazing, depending on your personal taste. It sounds like popcorn is being made. The pipes emit a raspy sound when they aren’t crackling. The mill can also sound very aggressive on the road.
Dragy app shows that the Audi can reach speeds of 62 miles an hour (100 km per hour) in just 3.21 seconds. The factory rating for the RS3’s latest version is acceleration to this speed in 3.8 seconds.
The quarter-mile takes 10.74 seconds and 0 to 200 mph (124 kph). In 15.86 seconds, the car can reach 155 mph (250 km/h). A mile at full throttle acceleration takes 27.31 seconds. The time for a half-mile is 16.86 seconds.
The digital speedometer shows that the RS3 is reaching 319 kph (198.2 mph). The Dragy GPS shows the car traveling at 311 kph (193 miles per hour). These speeds would have been impressive for supercars of 1990s, and here is a hot hatch that can achieve them.
The RS3 Sportback is not available in America at the moment. However, the sedan version is. The output has been increased to 401 horsepower (299 kW). The RS Torque Splitter rear differential, which can route as much as 100 percent of the power to either wheel, is an improved drivetrain. This tech is used to reduce understeer. Audi stiffens its chassis to improve handling.
