MIAMI FL – January 24, 20,22 – The five-round Le Mans Virtual Series 2021-22, which culminated last weekend with the star-studded 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual, saw an impressive TV and digital audience of more than 81.1 million during its 5-month-long season.
The final round of the Le Mans Virtual Series saw 50 cars and 200 drivers from 39 countries converge on the finale. On a virtual replica of Circuit des 24 Heures, France, Racers took part in 116 simulations around the world.
Formula One World Champion Max Vertappen was the leader of a team that included many famous racing names. He competed alongside INDYCAR Champion Alex Palou as well as motorsport legend Juan Pablo Montoya .
After intense battles between sim racing professionals from around the globe, Realteam Hydrogen Redline won the event, with BMW Team Redline winning the GTE category.
