Buxton started his career as a journalist in 2001, and then moved into broadcast as the official voice for GP2 (now called F2). He was a passionate broadcaster and was eventually hired by Speed Channel as the on-site reporter for F1 coverage in the U.S. for many years. Buxton has been an integral part of F1’s digital output in recent years. He is also a key character in Netflix’s essential documentary series Drive To Survive.

Today’s Motorsport.tv broadcasts the first episode of This Week With Will Buxton.
Will Buxton said: “As a child, Autosport was my Bible. It was the reason I wanted to be a journalist. Over the years, it has been a great honor to see my words and work appear there. James Allen and me go back many decades. When he called to ask if I was interested in working with Motorsport.tv, and becoming part of the larger Motorsport Network family, I said yes immediately. The cherry on top is being able to develop a small concept that I had created on my YouTube Channel during the winter months, and turn it into a full-length TV program with James and his amazing team at Motorsport Network. Motorsport.tv will soon have “This Week”.
Simon Danker is the CEO of Motorsport.tv. He said that Will’s passion for motorsports and his YouTube success make him the ideal partner for Motorsport.tv.tv.tv’s initial major commission. This Week with Will Buxton will provide fans with an exclusive view of the most recent racing stories as well as interviews with top motorsport figures. We are especially excited for fans to be a part of our new series.
