This summer, sales begin.
MS-RT, which was the company who surprised us with its tuned Transit Custom a year ago has a new, impressive project. The Transit Connect from MS-RT has received the first details. It will receive a similar treatment to its bigger brother. We think it’s awesome.
According to the tuning company, it uses styling and technology developed by Ford The van was built at Pontypool’s factory by the works rally team. The compact van comes with a complete aggressive body kit, including a front bumper, grilles and front diffuser as well as side skirts, rear bumper and rear diffuser.
Transit Connect rides on 18-inch OZ Racing wheels with Michelin tires. The 1.5-liter EcoBlue Diesel engine, which produces 118 horsepower (88 Kilowatts) as well as 199 pound-feet (297 Newton-meters), of power. Although the numbers may not match the vehicle’s overall appearance, MS-RT ensures that the exhaust sounds are correct thanks to a quad tip stainless steel exhaust system. You can choose between an automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission.
The tuners installed a carbon-inlay sports steering wheel and a hand-made Nappa leather/suede interior. MS-RT will offer the van with a unique gift pack that includes a custom logoed bag and products to keep it in top condition. The van will also come with an upgraded alloy wheel as standard, along with a special interior.
Edward Davies, MS-RT Founding Director comments, “We have enjoyed unparalleled success with the MSRT Transit Custom. The order books are completely full since launch.” “Our customers love their vans and the uniqueness, so we expect the Connect to have a similar following among those looking for a vehicle with true motorsport heritage.”
MS-RT will put the model up for sale this summer at PS23.995 for the manual version and PS24.995 for the auto version. This is equivalent to $31,195 and $32,495, respectively.
