It’s not something we hate, but it’s something we don’t like.
For quite some time, we’ve seen many Chevy C8s. We love the Vette C8 with Vossen wheels and Hennessey’s interpretation of the mid-engine sports car.
Another aftermarket example. This custom C8 belongs to Jordan Clarkson, a Utah Jazz player. It comes in all beige.
The embedded post below shows several images of Clarkson’s Corvette Convertible inside and out. Champion Motoring from San Diego, California did the customization on the Utah cager. It appears that it is a complete wrap job, rather than paintwork.
Gloss Ivory wraps the doors sills and other parts of the vehicle. This makes it extra interesting. Gloss Ivory has also been applied to the vent boomerangs. It looks great without an accent on the sides. This gives the design a more cohesive look.
We are not fans of the beige color. It’s a different color and certainly not one you would see on the street, but it made the car look a little dated.
The set of narrow-spoke wheels is another thing that doesn’t work for this car. Although it looks good, we aren’t fans of the rims. They take away from the Corvette C8’s sporty and aggressive styling. It’s almost like a bodybuilder trying to conceal his bulk with a suit and dress shoes.
This is only one man’s opinion. We’d love to hear your thoughts below.
