It is finally here.
You can mark it on your calendars and stick it to a sticky note. Tell your friends that the new Nissan Z sportscar will be available on August 17, 2021. Today’s announcement came just months after the Z Proto concept was shown late in 2020. We will finally see the twin-turbo coupe in metal, even though it will take a while before the production version is available.
Nissan has not yet released a release date. However, Nissan did leave out details about performance and cost. The new Z will use the Infiniti Q60’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It is expected to produce around 400 horsepower (298 kilowatts). The standard transmission will be a manual, but an option for an automatic. Power will only travel to the rear wheels.
The new Nissan Z design will likely be an updated version of the Z Proto’s: a bold fastback shape, large grille and retro-styled taillights at the rear. Patent filings And Spy photos We believe this is the final production version. This gives you a clear picture.
The interior of the new Z should not differ from the Proto. It will likely keep the same 8.0-inch touchscreen, triple gauge design at the top of the dash, digital instrument cluster and clean three-spoke steering wheels. Leather seating surfaces are also available.
The price of the new Z will not be known until Nissan announces it. However, insiders have told us that the sports car will retail at $34,995. Rumored performance packages will add $5,000 to the price. They include Brembo brakes and thicker sway bars. They also offer more cooling, extra features, and other options. We’ll find out all details about the new Nissan Z when it debuts in August.
