Along with the Mustang or the 911 the Beetle is undoubtedly one the most famous vehicles in human history. It is a well-known vehicle that everyone knows. You can see it even from far away. The Beetle’s 70-year history has made Volkswagen a powerful brand. This makes it a car you will tell your grandchildren about, regardless of your age. The People’s Car will be making its final run before Volkswagen ends its production.

What price would you pay for a 1964 Beetle in mint condition? It appears that one is available at Hemmings. However, you will need to spend a lot of money as it is worth over one million dollars and has many good reasons.

Rudy Zvarich bought the 54-year-old Beetle brand new in 1964 as a backup for his 1957 model. The car was never used, however, which is why it has only 23 miles on the trip meter. Although the photos show 22 miles, the Hemmings website explains that it was actually 23 miles when the car came out of storage.

This Beetle is unique because all its parts are original and have not been altered since 1964. All the parts are new, including the white-side-wall wheels, bright red seats and headliners. The car is essentially a time capsule. You could probably inhale some air from 1964 inside.

You can view the listing at Hemmings’ website or call Burback Motors (503) 236-1737 if you are interested.
