The stunning 1994 Acura Legend with 572.750 miles (921.751 kilometers) on its odometer was mentioned in our conversation a few days ago. The owner of this car actually has many more gems and he is happy to share his knowledge. Tyson Hugie explains his 1992 Acura Integra GS -R in a new video.
It’s also a high-mileage hero, with 251,438 km on the odometers, or 404,650 kilometers, if you are reading this from Canada or Europe. It is finished in Aztec Green which was one of Acura’s exclusive colors for the 1992-93 model years. It is stunning, it’s not an exaggeration to say.
Since 2016, the car has been owned by its current owner. It was modified with an aftermarket exhaust system and suspension components. Hugie bought factory parts on the second-hand marketplace and decided to restore it to its original form.
The car’s interior is equally impressive and has automatic seatbelts, just like the 1990s coupes. The car appears to be in excellent condition, with the exception of a few marks on the driver’s chair and worn floor mats. Importantly, though, the entire cabin is stock. There are no aftermarket audio players or short-shifters.
The engine underneath the hood appears to be in excellent condition. There are no leaks or rust in the engine bay. Just a consistent idle. The ABS system has a problem with its pump. This is the only issue. These pumps are no more in production so someone will need to replace them.
