Jaguar will unveil their 2009 XJ Portfolio at Geneva in early February. This four-door luxury car should make luxury car enthusiasts salivate. The saloon is identical to the XJR Portfolio and has all the features that you would expect from a car of this type.
The XJ Portfolio is equipped with a 4.2 liter, normally-aspirated V8, however you can add the supercharger to increase the power. This increases power to 400 horsepower. The Dynamic Stability Control and Computer Active Technology Suspension systems, as well as “self-leveling” air suspension, will keep the cabin comfortable no matter how fast your car goes.
This car is lighter and more durable thanks to its aluminum construction. The car can be painted in Celestial Black, Astral Gold or both. However, with 20-inch Selena alloys and chrome side mirrors, the Gold tone may make it look better around Mr. T than on the road.
You can choose to have your car interior decorated in either a Navy interior and champagne piping or an Ivory interior and navy piping. Navy carpets are available in either style. Oak veneer gives the interior some dimension. Heated-and-cooled seats with dual-zone climate control and heated-and-cooled seat heating keep passengers comfortable. A premium sound system allows you to blast Bach louder that an orchestra.
