One vehicle in Mercedes’ lineup is in desperate need of a redesign. It is their coupe, the Mercedes CLK. This illustration shows you how the new Mercedes CLK will look when it launches sometime in 2008, during “the summer”. The new CLK should have the same sweeping lines as its sister car, the Mercedes CLS. This Mercedes CLK rendering looks a lot like the C-class, but it has a bit more sport. Bi-xenon headlights will keep the road lit at night. Mercedes will be adding advanced technologies to the interior, including “Presafe II”, night vision, Comand II and the Distronic Plus adaptive coast control system. These technologies are all available in the Mercedes S-class, their flagship vehicle. The new CLK will be equipped with S-class technology, which means drivers will enjoy the most technologically advanced CLK ever. The new CLK comes with three power options: -the 272-hp, V6 CLK 350; -the 388hp V8 CLK500; -the 503hp CLK63 AMG. Last model integrations include an all-wheel-drive 4MATIC transmission and a hybrid powertrain.
