The new engine produces 303 PS (223kW / 299 HP) and 358 Nm (3264 lbft) of torque. It will be available on the 2012 Buick laCrosse at the same price as its 2.4-liter counterpart with eAssist for certain trim-levels.
GM has unveiled a new engine that will debut in the 2012 Buick LaCrosse, which will launch later in the year.
The aluminum-block, direct-injection V6 engine LFX has 303 PS (223kW / 299bhp), 358 Nm (3264 lbft) and 358 Nm (264lb-ft). This is 23 PS (17 kW) more than the previous unit.
The 2012 LaCrosse’s fuel economy remains the same at 17 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway (13.8 liters per 100km) as for the 2.4-liter four-cylinder.
Buick will offer the engine with assist in the 2012 LaCrosse at the same price as the 2.4-liter four-cylinder version.
