A recent report claims that Chevrolet will debut the Camaro Z28 at Chicago Auto Show.
Although nothing is confirmed, it is expected that the supercharged V8 engine will be featured in the Z28. It is expected to produce approximately 556 horsepower (415 kW/ 564 PS) as well as 551 lbft (747Nm) of torque. The Z28 will have a six-speed manual transmission that can accelerate it from 0-60 mph in under four seconds.
The styling of the high-performance model will include modified bumpers, revised grille, bulging hood and a four-pipe exhaust system. We can expect special Z28 accents and additional brightwork inside.
There is no word on pricing but production could begin on January 1, 2012.
