Chevrolet has finally released photos of the 1LE Performance Package on the Camaro SS. The Camaro SS 1LE Performance Package was first announced in March. It includes a variety of upgrades that are aimed at track-day enthusiasts.

Buyers have the option to purchase an optional package that offers a lower price than ZL1 models, but it is still attainable for many.

This upgraded model can be distinguished from its sibling the standard model by its matte black hood, front splitter and rear spoiler. It also features 20-inch ZL1-based alloy wheels with a 10-spoke ZL1 design wrapped in the same Goodyear Eagle Supercar T:2 tires as the ZL1.

The 1LE package adds front and rear stabilizer bars to improve body control, as well as a fuel delivery system. While the standard transmission is now replaced by a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, the engines are unchanged.

Chevrolet is also seeking approval from SCCA (Sport Car Club of America), to be allowed to participate in the 1LE package for Touring Class competition.
