Introduced ahead of its debut at Bangkok International Motor Show.
The SUV is based on the Colorado redesign and features rugged styling. It also has a body-on-frame structure that promises best-in class ride quality and responsiveness.
The cabin features a dual cockpit design, with a 3-spoke steering wheel, contrast trim and metallic accents. The cabin has seven seats and the second and third rows can be folded down to make a flat load floor.
Two four-cylinder diesel engines can be found under the hood. The 1.5-liter unit produces 150 PS and 258 lbft (350 Nm), respectively. The 2.8-liter unit can produce 180 PS and 132 kW/178 hp and 346lbft (470Nm) of torque. You can connect them to a five-speed manual transmission or a six speed automatic transmission. There is also an option for a four-wheel drive system.
The 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be available in Thailand starting June before going on sale “around the globe.”
