Mercedes-Benz will unveil the 2014 SLS AMG GT Final Edition at Los Angeles Auto Show, following an online reveal last Wednesday.
After an online unveiling last week, Mercedes-Benz introduced the 2014 AMG GT Final Edition at Los Angeles Auto Show.
350 SLS models will be made available as a special edition. They will feature an AMG V8 6.3 liter front-mid engine that produces 591 HP (435kW) at 6,800 RPM and 650 Nm (479 Lb-ft), at 4,750 Rpm. The supercar will need only 3.7 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) and 11.2 seconds until 124 mph (200 km/h), while the top speed will be electronically-limited to 199 mph (320 km/h).
The coupe will also be available as a roadster. Both versions will feature a carbon fiber hood featuring a central air outlet and a splitter for front apron. A fixed carbon fiber rear aerofoil will be used, just like the Black Series model. The wheels are AMG forged light alloy wheels, which can be ordered in two finishes: matte black with high sheen rim finish or matte black without high sheen finish. They measure 19 inches at each axle and 20 inches at their back. These new Dunlop Sport Maxx Race Cup tires will cover them in size 265/35 R19 front, and 295/35 R20 back.
It has been fitted with designo Exclusive leather inside, with a diamond pattern and contrasted silver stitching. The cabin features standard carbon fiber trim, silver seats belts, and black floor mats. A unique number badge is located in the center console of carbon fiber.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Final Edition will go on sale in March. Prices in Germany (VAT inclusive) start at 225,505 EUR per coupe and 233 835 EUR per roadster. The final SLS can be customized with carbon fiber engine covers and mirrors. It also comes with AMG Performance Media, ceramic brakes, and a Bang & Olufsen surround sound system.
