Without any disguise, we were able to see inside and outside of a 2016 Lexus LX 570 facelift.
A naked 2016 Lexus LX570 facelift was spotted up close and personal.
The front fascia of the LX has been redesigned with a massive spindle grille, a more aggressive bumper and new fog lights. The side skirts were also modified and have received a new set alloys. The third side window has a modified shape, while the rear end features new taillights with chrome detailing and a roof-mounted spoiler.
The changes inside the cabin are even more dramatic. It now has a larger touchscreen display, an analog clock, three-spoke steering wheels, updated instrument cluster, and reshaped vents. This car is a top-spec model with an optional rear-seat entertainment system that packs dual tablet-like displays.
Although it is not clear if the V8 5.7-liter engine was ever modified, we can inform you that the old version is rated at 383 horsepower (286 kW) as well as 403 lbft (546 Nm). The transmission works together with a Torsen limited slip differential and a 4-wheel drive system.
Tech-wise, the vehicle should have an autonomous braking system that uses a radar and high resolution camera to scan the road ahead. This system automatically applies the brakes when there is an imminent collision. It also lowers the risk of hitting a pedestrian.
In the next few days, an official unveiling of the facelift to the 2016 Lexus LX should take place.
