2017 Jeep Renegade Deserthawk Crossover is another special-edition model

This model, which is desert-inspired, is based upon the Trailhawk trim.

The 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show will have plenty of special-edition crossovers, Star Wars-themed and other. This Renegade Deserthawk Jeep is also getting in on this action.

It is based on Renegade’s Trailhawk model. This means that it can tackle any terrain. The Deserthawk, like all Renegade Trailhawks has a raised suspension with 8.7 inches of ground clearance, big red tow hooks and functional skid plates. It also features an upgraded four-wheel drive system with a low-range crawl ratio of 20:1.

The Deserthawk edition features black-painted 17 inch steel, leather seats with Deserthawk logos and durable rubber floor mats. The hood features a large decal that shows a topographical map showing off-road trails. While the C-pillar has a large star decal, which is because of, um, off-roading. The Deserthawk has a limited number of color options, including the Mojave Sand, Alpine White, and Anvil. All Deserthawks are equipped with rock rails as well as the optional Trailer Tow package.

The base price for a Renegade Trailhawk is $1,495 less than the 2017 Jeep Renegade Deserthawk, which will go on sale January 29th, at $29,135
