2018 Dacia Duster Redesigned As Pickup, GT, and Three-Door Version

It could happen.

The “shockingly cheap” Dacia Duster has been on the market for seven years and sold more than one million units. Now, it is getting a second generation. Renault’s low-cost Romanian Division is keeping up its SUV status. It uses the same underpinnings as the Renault-branded model, but with a slightly modified body and updated interior.

It’s a popular model that is almost universally used, and it has already attracted the attention of Photoshop-savvy people. X-Tomi Design has already started to imagine all kinds of Duster 2018 versions. The two most fun designs (the GT sporty and three-door) are not feasible. However, the two that are are are are very entertaining are the GT sporty and the 3-door.

Let’s take, for instance, the basic version with its plain bumpers. This could be the entry-level Duster variant, with steel wheels and no paint on the door handles and side mirrors.

Renault already sells a pickup truck under its own brand in South America. It’s the Duster Oroch, and it has been around for over two years. It’s possible that Dacia will offer its version in Europe this time, but it’s too soon to be certain.

Although the Duster is one of the most affordable new SUVs, it doesn’t mean that it sacrifices technology. This new version includes features such as a multiview camera, blind spot warning and keyless entry. For added safety, it also features automatic climate control and curtain-airbags. An optional 4×4 system is also available.

All things considered, Dacia and Renault’s revamped Duster are sure to be a huge success.
