It’s never too much chrome.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles presented a roadmap last month for several of its brands up to 2022. Alfa Romeo Jeep, Maserati and Ram all have plans to introduce new products. However, Fiat and Dodge were absent. But that doesn’t mean brands are in peril. Fiat continues to grow despite falling car sales. For a small fee, the brand offers new chrome appearance packages for 2018 500X or 500L. These add blingy accessories.
The Chrome Appearance Group adds chrome accents on the 500L’s front fascia, rear reflector chrome bezels and body-side molding chrome accents. This package includes 17-inch aluminum wheels with black accents, and fog lights. The package comes in seven exterior colors: graphite metallic (black, white), red, grey metallic (grey metallic), and two shades of blue (two). The package is only available for the Pop trim model. Prices start at $20,995, with no additional charges. The package is $495 The package for 500X is slightly different. The package is called the Sating Chrome Appearance Group and includes satin chrome accents on door handles, exterior mirrors and body-side moldings, fog light bezels and front fascias, rear badging, roof rails and taillight bezels, as well as the liftgate handle. Fog and cornering lights, auto headlights, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and automatic headlights are all included. This package is available in all exterior colors of the 2018 500X.
The Satin Chrome Appearance Group is $395 for an all-wheel-drive model, and $695 for a front-wheel drive model. Only the Pop trim level offers this package. It starts at $19.995 for FWD, and $23,890 AWD. The 500X and 500L don’t really get any changes from these packages. The subtle differences make these two Fiat cars stand out from the rest. Both have remained the same in design since their introduction many years ago. Customers can upgrade their vehicle with these appearance packages without spending thousands.
