All the things we love about E-Class, including turbo V6 power and even more style.
These leaked Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe brochure scans are a great way to see the car in all its high-resolution glory. The official launch of the new coupe by Merc is imminent. We have all details in advance of the debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show in Jan.
This car is simply stunning. The coupe’s nose is pure EClass with its elegant styling and taut lines. The rear ends of the coupe follow the same minimalistic design principles as the S-Class and coupes. They also have horizontal, LED taillamps. Although the side windows are not pillar-less, the design is elegant and reminds me of the larger S. The two-door E is elegant and modern.
The interior features are the same as the E-Class Sedan’s. The large, digital instrument cluster and infotainment display screen remain front and center. There are also plush seats and fine leather trim all over. It has 64 ambient lighting options. Sixty-four!
The E-Class Coupe will be available with a variety of gasoline and diesel engines all over the globe, but the U.S. will get the E400, which can either be rear-wheel driven or 4Matic all-wheel. The E400 is powered by a 3.0-liter biturbocharged, 329 horsepower, and 354 pound-feet torque V6. It’s essentially an improved version of the engine found in the AMG 43. The Mercedes 9G-Tronic nine speed automatic transmission manages the power and the E400 Coupe can sprint to 60 mph in just 5.2 seconds. It can also reach a top speed exceeding 130 mph. 4Matic will add 0.3 seconds to the 0-60 sprint.
A host of AMG variants will be available, no doubt. E43 And E63 /E63 S Variants are a given. earlier reports The E Coupe will be the first E50 model, with a new biturbo V6. We will have more information on the AMG variants later in the year.
The E400 Coupe will be available in the United States next summer. More information will be available live at the Detroit unveiling.
