This Nitemare could be the ultimate dream for performance truck enthusiasts.
Roush is a long-standing factory-backed performance dynamo that Blue Oval fans love, especially for the fire-breathing Mustangs. However, the tuner also works with the F150. The 2018 Roush F-150 Nitemare is a performance pickup, but it’s not just a dark shade of black.
The pickup weighs in at half-ton and gets several performance and visual upgrades. It also features a supercharged Ford 5.0-liter Coyote engine that produces 650 horsepower (485kW). The company’s TVS R2650Supercharger Package includes a number of items including a new induction system and a huge intercooler. A larger throttle body, an aluminum intake manifold designed by Roush, and an ECU tune that makes it all work together. Roush’s exhaust system provides a little more power, as well as the audio delights that V8 horsepower brings.
The Nitemare receives a Roush-specific frontclip that swaps the stock bumper cover and grille for new parts. The wheels are now 22 inches in diameter and come with low-profile rubber tires. Roush branding is found on badges and stickers throughout the truck, including the trademark Roush hockey stripes. The Nitemare also offers an option to add a full leather interior, a bed cover, and a console vault. A dual-tip active exhaust system can keep things quiet or loud depending on how your neighbors feel.
The Nitemare package is priced at $16,999. This price does not include the F-150. A Roush can be purchased through selected Ford dealerships. It also comes with a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.
