The 2019 BMW 3 Series won’t be available on the market until March 2019. There’s a longer wait for full-bore . The automaker offers a variety of M Performance Parts to make the sedan look a little more sporty for performance-hungry drivers.
BMW offers many sporty enhancements for the exterior. These are available in high-gloss black and carbon-fiber finishes. Two front splitter options are available, each offering different levels of aggressiveness. Carbon fiber mirror caps enhance the sedan’s exterior, while M-branded side sills allow customers to show that they have the upgrades.
Two trunk lid spoilers are available at the back. Customers can choose how prominent they wish the spoilers to be. Gray-tinted taillights give the rear a darker look. You can choose from a matte black, high-gloss, or carbon diffuser. BMW also offers exhaust tips made of carbon fiber and titanium.
There are also 18-inch M Performance brakes available. These have perforated and grooved disks that are more resistant to heat than standard units. They are clamped by a set of four-piston red Calipers.
M Performance wheels can be added to the 3 Series to enhance the look. There are 18-inch models in matte black and double spokes. You can also find 20-inch forged parts with a mixture of jet black and burnedished finish. 20-inch wheels are available with Y spokes in either a matte black or mixed matte ferric and gloss lathed. A set of M-branded tires bags allows owners to transport them in style, even if they need to change winter or summer rubber.
Customers can make things more interesting by adding a variety parts to the interior. The M Performance steering wheel has a red stripe at the top with hand-sewn cross-stitch seams. Carbon fiber shift paddles are a great way to add style. Carbon fiber trim kits can give the cabin a sportier look.
The M Performance drive analyzer records the driving data of the onboard computers, and relays the information to a smartphone app. You can record laps by connecting it to your phone’s camera. You can also connect the setup with a GoPro, which is mounted on the rear or front towing rings for better views.
The 2019 3 Series will finally arrive in March. Americans will be able to only get the sedan with the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 255 horsepower (190kW) and 295 pounds-feet (495 Newton-meters). The only option is an eight-speed automatic, but you can choose from rear- or all-wheel drive. A 3.0-liter turbocharged, turbocharged inline-6 will be added to the lineup later with 382 horsepower (295 kW), and 369 lbft (500 Newton meters) of torque.
