To accommodate the faster weight transfer during gear swaps, the Dynamic Suspension Valve Dampers have also been revised.

The 10-speed auto, according to Bowtie makes the ZL11LE go a quarter-second faster around the Milford Road Course of 2.9 miles than the model with the six-speed manual. According to the company, the faster shifts and more cogs of the new transmission would reduce the time taken by the Camaro to complete the Nurburgring lap in 7:16.
