For those who don’t love stripes,
Dodge revealed a few important updates for the 2019 model year. The new trim levels included new instrument panel badging, satin-black hood option, new “Brass Monkey”, 20-inch forged wheels and an Alcantara interior package. There was also a new grille with dual air intakes for the Hellcat model.
The American automaker has made further improvements to the model. This is not limited to the design department. The SRT Hellcat models now have the option to order three additional stripe options, including dual carbon and dual gunmetal grey stripes. These two options are still available and will also be available for Charger R/T R/T.
“Exterior stripes, especially if they are a contrast color, magnify the shape and size of the hood and highlight the size of the air-intake,” Mark Trostle, Head Performance Passenger and Utility Vehicle Exterior Design, Fiat Chrysler, says “Customers love the freedom to customize their Chargers and we have five different stripe color options and a fantastic color palette of 13 colors so they can make it their own.”
The stripes are the same as before and cover the roof, deck lid, front fascias, and roof. They also “tailored around NACA’s signature duct-hood vent to highlight the Charger model’s aggressive but functional design.”
All five options have a MSRP dealer cost of $995
