Trail Control keeps the truck moving at a constant speed off-road so that drivers can concentrate on steering.
Ford is making the 2019 F150 Raptor a more rugged pickup. This makes it an even more capable off-roader. The truck is even more comfortable to drive when it gets bumpy. Dealers will receive the upgraded model in late 2018.
After fitting larger-diameter Fox shocks in 2017 model year upgrades, the Raptor’s suspension is now improved by the Blue Oval. Live Valve technology is now available on the latest pieces. This allows you to adjust damping rates according to the terrain. The suspension and body sensors monitor the situation and adjust the setup accordingly. The tech can adjust the dampers to smoothen out landings and even detect if the pickup is suspended in the air.
Trail Control is a feature that the 2019 Raptor has. It acts as a cruise control for off-road, low-speed driving. The tech can be activated by drivers from 1 to 20 mph. After that, the vehicle will continue to move forward at a constant speed. It can also power or brake individual wheels as needed. This allows the driver to concentrate on steering.
Ford adds a new interior accent package that dresses up the Raptor’s cabin by adding Recaro sport chairs to the optional interior package. These seats have a larger bolster than the current ones and blue Alcantara centers with accent stitching in a sapphire color similar to the Ford GT’s Light Speed-color. They also have power adjustment, heating and cooling.
There are a few options available for buyers who want to personalize their 2019 Raptor. Ford Performance Blue and Velocity Blue are now available for the exterior. Agate Black is also available. The “Ford” rear emblem now has two-tone styling. You can also purchase a set of beadlock-capable tires. The 2019 Raptor’s powertrain is the same with a 3.5-liter V6 producing 450 horsepower (336 Kilowatts) as well as 510 pound-feet (692 Newton meters) of torque. The Raptor’s 10-speed automatic gearbox features a high/low transfer case and a four-wheel drive to get to the ground.
