The sedan receives a lot more standard equipment for the new model year.
The future of the Ford Fusion does not look bright as it will soon be out of production by 2020 or 2021. The sedan will still be available from Blue oval dealers and the 2019 model-year will soon be displayed at their showrooms.
Although prices have not yet been released, CarsDirect has information on what to expect in the new year. Their information states that the 2019 Fusion S will start at $23,735 with destination. This is $645 less than it currently is. For 2019, the SE model will be priced at $25,015 and receive a $650 price increase. The Fusion Titanium will cost $35,235. This is a $3,870 price increase. Fusion Sport will cost $40,910 and will be $6,190 more than the current model.
But! But! Although the 2019 Fusion might seem more expensive than its predecessor, it will have much more equipment. Take the Fusion Titanium as an example. The 2019 Fusion will include a glass roof, adaptive cruise controller, satellite navigation and 19-inch wheels. The price of a 2018 Fusion Titanium will rise to $37,000, compared to $35,235 for the 2019 MY.
The Fusion Sport will be available starting at $40,910. The new version will include a navigation system and glass roof. It also has parking sensors and ventilated seats.
The base price for an electrified Fusion Hybrid will start at $28,450. This is up from $26,265 in the 2018 MY. This is because Ford won’t sell the entry-level S trim anymore and the SE will be the most affordable model.
