There are many options available, including the FX4 package for four-wheel-drive trucks that is off-road-oriented.
This statement suggests that at most the information about accessories and packages is correct, even though some pricing information is incorrect.
According to the configurator, the 2019 Ford Ranger will cost $24,000 plus $1,095 destination for the base XL trim, which has rear-wheel drive and a regular cab. Off-Road.com discovered that information about the truck could be found by simply typing “Ranger”, on Blue Oval’s configurator website. However, there was no link to it.
Ford has not yet confirmed Ranger pricing. The Ranger configurator is not yet linked by Ford so details could change. This is still the best information we have about the available packages and equipment for the new pickup.
The 2019 Ranger will come in XL and XLT trims, as well as in Super Cab and four-door Super Crew bodies. Only the XL model will have the regular cab. They will all come with a 2.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder and a 10-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive will also be available.
Customers can choose from eight exterior colors including Hot Pepper Red at $395 and White Platinum at $595. You can choose between Ebody or Medium Stone upholstery with cloth on the lower trims, and leather for your Lariat.
Ford offers many options for the Ranger. Four-wheel-drive trucks are available with the FX4 off-road package for $1,295 which will include an electronic locking rear differential and exposed front tow hooks. It also includes an off-road screen for Ford’s infotainment system, front air dam delete system, skid plates, terrain management system, trail control, as well as an FX4 decal truck.
There will be Chrome or Sport Appearance packages for a unique look. The first package adds shiny accents to the body, such as bumpers and grille surrounds. For a darker appearance, the latter uses black parts.
The $795 technology package will include adaptive cruise control and navigation. The Lariat will come with a B&O seven speaker stereo and an HD radio. You can also choose from a range of accessories like running boards, splash guards, and 17-inch and 18-inch wheels.
The Ranger will be available for purchase in the fourth quarter 2018.
