2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Teased Before February Reveal [UPDATE]

There have been significantly more teaser images published.

After the spy shots, it is now time to take a look at the official Hyundai image with the fourth-generation Santa Fe. The teaser image below shows the SUV’s side profile. It features the Kona-like headlights and sweptback taillights. The corporate “cascading Grille” can be seen in the teaser but it is not visible in the photo gallery. It appears to be quite large judging from the appearance of the prototype in the next photo gallery. The new Santa Fe is not known much else, but Hyundai makes a promise that the SUV will feature the first ever Rear Occupant Alarm system in the automotive industry. The new technology will monitor the rear seats and alert the driver if they are about to get out of the car. This is just one of many safety innovations that the fourth iteration will offer. A second one will be the rear cross-traffic collision alert with an automatic braking function that stops the car in the event of an accident while the driver is reversed in a narrow area with poor vision.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Teased Before February Reveal [UPDATE]

Hyundai will release the first images and possibly more details of the 2019 Santa Fe in February. A public debut is scheduled for March’s Geneva Motor Show. After customers complaining about not being able distinguish the two, the company is believed to be working to differentiate the three-row Santa Fe Sport from the Santa Fe Sport. This could be a change in the name of the smaller model and a slight increase in the size of the larger one.
