Let’s all hope at least one of these happens.
All-new MercedesBenz A-Class. The five-door hatch, which has a bold “Predator” styling that is in keeping with family members such as the CLS and an updated, tech-focused interior should be a huge seller when it goes on the market in a matter of months. Rumours suggest that the new vehicle will be able to produce as many as seven models. We hope the two shown here are part of this plan.
Ascariss Design’s rendering artists created the A-Class as a coupe and an A45 AMG hatchback. The first rendering looks especially sleek and has similarities to the C-Class coupe as well as the CLA sedan. You won’t see it in the real world.
The A45 AMG should join the lineup. Ascariss Design gave the hot hatch subtle styling cues that were in line with other AMG models, such as a more aggressive front fascia, black wheels and AMG badges throughout. We expect an upgraded version of the AMG model to produce 375 horsepower (279 Kilowatts) and 350 pounds-feet (474 Newton meters) of torque via a turbocharged 2.0-liter turbocharged four.
Buyers will be content with the A-Class standard for now. Its most powerful trim produces 221 horsepower (165 kW) or 258 lbft (350 Nm), from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. This new power is coupled to a seven speed dual-clutch transmission. It’s available with either front-wheel drive standard or optional 4Matic all wheel-drive system.
The A-Class hatchback will be arriving in Europe later this year, before making its way back to America as a sedan. The development of the four-door model has already begun, according to spy shots . Pricing is still unknown.
