2019 Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic Spotted in The Metal

It’s not as impressive as the official images.

The 2019 Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic was revealed online last week. It has now been spotted in the real world by Mercedes-Benz Passion blog. This production-ready prototype is not in the bright yellow hue shown in the official images. It’s dressed in a more casual Denim Blue coat. You can also order the lower models of the A-Class range.

The hot hatch’s contrast dark yellow side stripes at the bottom of its doors indicate that it might be an Edition 1. These cars are being sold by Mercedes for a short period of 12 months. Usually, the car comes with a lot more standard equipment if you’re willing to pay a premium.

The Edition 1 A35 4Matic would be the most expensive A class money can buy. It’s not a permanent title, as the A45 4Matic in the Edition 1 flavor will be more expensive, and the A45 S, which is already confirmed, will arrive later.

The A-Class sedan will be available for the 2019 model year. It is likely that the A35 Sedan has been spotted and rendered. This could be for the 2020MY. The hatch’s technical specifications should be identical. A turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine of 302 horsepower (225kW) will be available at 5,800 rpm. It can also deliver a maximum torque of 295 lbft (400 Newton-meters) at 3,000 rpm. The hatch’s output is routed through a seven speed, dual-clutch automated gearbox to the 4Matic all wheel-drive system.

If you’re looking for something more elegant than the A35 or A45 hatchbacks there’s a chance that the next-generation will be offered in these 35 and 45 AMG models
