It’s just a matter time.
The news that the Audi RS 6 avant will be coming to the U.S. has been a dream come true for wagon enthusiasts like us. Finally, we have our hands ( literally did) upon the largest and most savage Audi available. It’s not just a glorified nameplate for the German marque, but it’s also a dream come true.
The Audi RS 6 Avant is a respectable vehicle with a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 underneath. It produces 591 horsepower (441 kiloWatts), and 590 poundfeet (890 Newton-meters) of torque. This model is not a mom-mobile, as it can reach 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 3.6 seconds.
It’s only a matter time before the RS 6 Avant is available for tuning and will be transformed by those who are skilled in this field. was the first to cast its stones, according to its Facebook page.
The Miami-based tuner, which specializes in tuning Audi cars extra special, tuned the RS 6 Avant to 787 hp (587 kW), and 760 lb/ft (1.030 Nm). They’re only on stage 1. MTM stated that the new RSS7 as well as RSS Q8 had the same results after stage 1. This should place the wagon on the same platform with the larger Audis. These numbers are not enough to allow the wagon to cross over the supercar categories.
MTM is currently finalizing pricing for the Audi RS6 Avant. It’s great to be able to compare your options once you’ve purchased the super-fast wagon.
