The shape of the “hockeystick” has changed for the better or worse.
Official images of the 2020 7 Series LCI appear to be coming from BMW. These images were taken from an online configurator. They show the 750L, 750L and M Sport packages. The M760Li is also shown. All are finished in Alpine White. This is actually the third leak that we have published in the past few days and it’s the most detailed as we can see the new exterior design from all angles.

The Life Cycle Impulse applied to the BMW 7er is more comprehensive than other BMW Life Cycle Impulses. In addition to the large grille, the headlights now have a sleeker, more modern shape, and the hood has also been redesigned. The car’s white paint makes it hard to see the new hood, but the previous leak showed its bold new design.
Side profile shows that BMW’s designers made some adjustments to the hockey stick so it can now stand upright on the front bumper. The updates to the rear are less apparent, but the LED taillights now have new graphics and the exhaust finishers have an altered shape, making them appear wider. The M760i is the top-of-the-line model. Some design accents come in a gold/copper finish, such as the hockey stick, V12 badge on rear pillar, corporate grille, side mirrors and even the wheels.
BMW Blog says the official premiere will take place next week. However, it remains to see if BMW will stick to their plan now that more revealing images are available.
