BMW introduced the X3 hybrid plug-in earlier in the year. According to a report by , the 2020 BMW X3 xDrive30e will go on sale in the spring with a starting cost of $49,545, which includes the destination fee. BMW’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder engine is paired with an electric motor, and a 12-kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery. An eight-speed automatic gearbox transmits power to all four wheels. It is difficult to compare the X3 PHEV with its rivals. BMW has not released official fuel economy figures, but it did say that the X3 PHEV will provide 20 miles on pure electric power.
