Credit must be given where credit is due. Chevrolet blew it away with the C8 Corvette. Some may be critical of its styling. Others might believe that a Corvette should have an engine in the front. It doesn’t really matter. It is a supercar with a mid-engine that can reach 60 mph in just three seconds and has an after-destination price of just below $60,000. The car is recognizable as a Corvette because of its styling. It’s still loved by people all over the globe, both buyers and enthusiasts. We love it so much that we keep talking about.

It’s not a big deal that the top fits into the truck – that’s what GM said at the C8’s unveil. The Corvette’s key fob unlocks the windows by pressing the unlock button. While that may seem new to some, Chevrolet owners are familiar with this feature. The hidden button that opens the C8’s frunk can be found above the left vent on its lower fascia. This allows you to open the lid without the key fob and get in the car, provided it isn’t locked. Soft-closing hatches are also available on the C8. This is something that buyers and potential buyers will quickly learn.

The last two items are what we would consider bonafide Easter eggs. Although the Corvette’s winged logo is visible from the speaker grille between seats, it can only be seen from certain angles. The logo action is even more evident on the ‘Vette’s rear glass. It’s located at the top, where the black section blends downward. There aren’t the usual little black dots you would see on a Corvette logo. Isn’t that cool?
