The National Corvette Museum can deliver your vehicle.
Many people think that buying a car is about driving to the nearest dealership and then hopping in a new, shiny vehicle. 2020 ChevyCorvette owners do not have to go to the dealerships. An anxious owner can choose to pick up their vehicle at the National Corvette Museum, located across from GM’s Bowling Green factory, Kentucky, where Chevrolet makes the new mid-engine Corvette. CGarnerSpeed252, Clarence Garner’s YouTube channel, received his bright Torch Red Corvette.
Clarence has already become familiar with his new car before he disappears in a cloud o’ tire smoke. It is parked on the Museum floor with other Corvettes of mid-engine, waiting for their owners. To keep the public’s grubby fingers away from the shiny paint, they are secured. The back of the car is where the tour begins, with the trunk, rear hatch, and huge wing. The trunk contains the car cover, seat plastic and other bits. Clarence finally gets into the driver’s chair after learning how to unlock it in case of dead battery.
Clarence is given a step by step guide to the Corvette’s features and functions before he can actually start it. They then dive into the digital cluster and its many nifty features. Finally, they look at the infotainment screen, which allows the driver to control many of the car’s functions. They then dive into the Performance Data Recorder and valet mode. Before the car leaves the museum, they take a look at the engine bay and trunk.
This is a detailed feature-by-feature overview of the car. It’s a humanized version of the owner’s manual we are supposed to read but never do. However, it makes excellent bathroom reading material. After a long delay in production, production has finally begun. We’ll soon see more owners take delivery and more Corvettes on the road.
