2020 Fiat 500X Sport arrives with a more refined appearance, standard AWD

The interior includes navigation and special trim around it.

At this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2020 Fiat 500X Sport will join the model’s lineup. This model is more streamlined and features a new bodykit, Rovente Red exterior paint, and improved interior amenities. The Sport starts at $26,895, while the base model is $24,590. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter 2020. The 500X Sport is equipped with the turbocharged four-cylinder engine of 1.3-liters with 177 horsepower (132 Kilowatts) & 210 pound-feet (285 Newton meters) of torque. The only option is a nine-speed automatic. The model comes standard with an all-wheel drive system with automatic rear axle disconnect, which improves efficiency when power is not required to reach the back wheels.

Fiat shakes things up in the United States

The Sport has a more aggressive front fascia, with a prominent lower intake and body-color surround. The Sport also features matching side strips, a modified rear bumper and two chrome exhaust tips. Dark trim is used for mirror caps, door handles and license plate trim. Standard features include LED foglights and headlights. The 500X is available on 18-inch wheels, but you can also get 19-inch versions with Michelin CrossClimate all season tires. Customers can also order Rovente Red in White, Black and Moda Grey. Customers can add a black roof to create a two-tone effect with any of the shades.

The cabin features sport seats and a techno-leather-wrapped steering wheel with Alcantara sections. The seven-inch display has navigation and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The headliner and pillars are covered in dark fabric. Optional safety tech can be added to the car by buyers. These features include adaptive cruise control and front park assist. Blind-spot monitoring is also available. Rear cross-path detection is also possible.
