The Expedition’s rugged trim is back.
The Ford Expedition has been two years since the King Ranch trim was last seen. This year, however, we’re seeing the rugged trim make a comeback in the Expedition Max and Expedition. We have a gallery of the Ford F-250Super Duty King Ranch to show you the interior details and specs. The King Ranch will be available between the Limited and Platinum offers. It starts at $74,290 including destination.
Exterior enhancements include the Stone Grey finish on bumpers and roof rails and retractable running board, as well the King Ranch logo on every row of seats, aluminum scratch plates and floor mats. It is likely that you will also receive 22-inch aluminum wheels. You’ll likely find Del Rio leather on the interior, including the steering wheel and center console, as well as all of your seats.
The King Ranch edition’s standard equipment will have a specification that is close to the Limited trim but with a few extras to make it even more appealing. Park assist, LED headlights, and a panoramic sunroof all come standard. Ford Co-Pilot360 is included here. It includes driver-assist features like blind spot warning and lane departure warning, automatic hibeams, collision mitigation, and automatic highbeams. You can also expect a 360-degree camera that offers different views. The engines will remain the same with a 3.5-liter engine and a 10-speed auto.
There is no substitute for all that space:
The King Ranch is a comfortable $3500 more expensive than the Limited trim with comparable equipment. This makes it an excellent choice for those who want a little extra. All-wheel drive is also available, increasing the price to $77.420. The King Ranch 4×4 is $1,395 less than the Platinum Expedition MAX, which costs $81,505 for the 4×4. This mid-tier option could be appealing to Expedition buyers, considering the increasing demand for SUVs with more competitive specifications. We will soon see.
