You can travel anywhere you like in comfort.

The 2020 Ford Expedition has more to offer for fans. For 2020, the Limited model gets a rugged FX4 package (the base XLT trim still has it). This adds some toughness to the most expensive option in the range. Ford claims it will appeal to those who want to “enjoy rugged terrain without having give up the refinement.”

The Expedition Limited’s FX4 package includes 32-inch all-terrain wheels wrapped around 18-inch cast aluminum wheels. Underbody are seven skid plates and premium off-road-tuned suspensions. The bumper-mounted chin spoiler is shorter and better for approaching angles. Chrome-plated running boards with step bars provide additional protection on the trail. There’s also a new electronic limited slip differential.
Ford claims that 20 percent Expedition customers take their SUVs off-road, so this package is a no-brainer. A new 360-degree camera, with split-view technology and a new camera that can be used to view difficult terrain or parking lots in difficult places is also included. Ford’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite includes the new 360-degree camera, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assistance. Standard on the Expedition Limited.

Ford Expedition Limited comes with the FX4 package. It is powered by the same EcoBoost V6 engine found elsewhere in Expedition range. This V6 produces 375 horsepower (280kilowatts), and is paired with a 10-speed auto. This package adds $2,035 to the Expedition Limited’s asking price, making it $71,865. For those who prefer more space and ruggedness, the Expedition Max can be upgraded to the FX4 package.
