All trucks now feature an active safety tech suite with infotainment system and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
The 2020 Honda Ridgeline will be available next year with major upgrades. It includes a nine-speed auto to replace the six-speed gearbox. On December 16, the first of these improved trucks will be in showrooms.
A remote-locking tailgate now features the Ridgeline’s exterior. The rear doors are now able to open wider.
All 2020 Ridgelines come with the Honda Sensing active safety assistance suite. These features include collision mitigation brake, road departure mitigation and adaptive cruise control with low speed follow. Lane-keeping assistance is also included.
All 2020 Ridgeline trims will now have an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto functionality, rather than being a standard feature on the RTL-T trim.
Honda has expanded the options available to the pickup. Customers can also add LED low beams to the headlights and an eight-way power driver seat with adjustable lumbar support. Ambient interior lighting is also available.
Ridgeline’s only engine is a 3.5-liter V6. It produces 280 horsepower (209 Kilowatts) & 262 pound-feet (355 Newton meters). Customers have the option of front- or all-wheel drive
Honda will also reduce the number of Ridgeline trim grades from six to four in 2020. The base RT and mid-level RTL-T versions are no longer available. This leaves only the Sport, RTL-E and Black Edition. The 2019 model’s entry-level version no longer exists, so the starting price is now $34,995 and not $31,085.
