2020 Kia Small SUV Interior Sketches Display Wide Touchscreen

The Telluride’s 10.25-inch infotainment screen is twice as big as the Telluride’s.

If we consider the SP Concept, which was unveiled in February 2018, Kia has been teasing its global small crossover for quite some time. The Signature Concept evolved into it at the end March, before the first teaser for the production version was published a little more than a week ago. The South Korean marque has released a set of sketches showing the interior of its new crossover, which is aimed at millennials.

The teasers show that Kia is not going to make any big changes in the interior cabin. The 10.25-inch touchscreen can be found in the flagship Telluride SUV. It’s also available in other models, such as the quirky Soul hatchback or the K900 flagship sedan.

This version is most likely a high-spec model, considering the adaptive cruise control shown in the central screen of the instrument cluster. According to the rev counter, the model is equipped with an automatic transmission that can be hooked up to a gasoline engine. You should also note the automatic climate control and electronic parking brake. There are also rows of buttons below the touchscreen that can be used as shortcuts to different functions.

There are seven buttons to the right and left of the gear lever that provide access to the heated steering wheel, seats, automatic start/stop, hill assist control, parking sensors, and what appears to be the 4WD Lock button, which indicates that the crossover will have an allpaw setup. It’s a typical Kia affair with a well-thought out layout.

The full reveal is possible as Kia claims that the crossover will be available in KDM flavor in second half of the year. Other countries will follow in the near future.
