2020 Mercedes CLA Gets a Big Price Increase in The U.S.

The base model is $3550 more expensive than the 2019 CLA.

The 2020 CLA was introduced by Mercedes at the Detroit Auto Show. But, we are now able to find out how much the stylish sedan will cost. CarsDirect was able to obtain early dealer guides, which reveal that the CLA 250 front-wheel-drive CLA 350 starts at $37,645 after adding the $995 destination fee. The 2020MY CLA is $7,745 less than the original CLA, which went on sale in 2014 model years. It’s also $3550 more expensive than the 2019MY CLA. However, the premium that you’ll pay is well worth it. Mercedes pushed its mini-CLS even higher upmarket. This was done to make space in the lineup for the more conventionally designed models. A-Class Sedan The CLA is $3,850 lower than the CLA, with a starting price at $33,795 for the A220 base model. Like most premium cars, the CLA’s asking prices will quickly rise and exceed $40,000 as soon as you tick some of the options boxes. Additional goodies include a 10.25 inch all-digital instrument cluster, an infotainment touchscreen, Driver Assistance, Parking Assistance and Multimedia packages.

Koenigsegg’s CC850 debuts: A Modern CC8S with 1,385 HPand a Manual Trans CLAs that are even more expensive are on their way to the U.S. Mercedes-AMG already showed the 35 derivative, as well as its range-topping HTML45_ and its even hotter sibling the “45 S”. The CLA Shooting brake is not available for the U.S., but it’s a tiny wagon already in Europe in all three AMG varieties. The A35 Sedan will be another compact model that Affalterbach tuned. An A45 Sedan is likely to follow.  The four-door coupe will be available at U.S. dealers in all-wheel-drive CLA 250 versions.
