Numerous styling changes mirror the 2020 Titan’s, with a bolder grille and different designs depending on trim level. The front bumper has been redesigned to incorporate the LED fog lights. Meanwhile, the main headlights have been redesigned to use light-emitting diodes. This gives the truck an elegant look and increases visibility. The new taillights at the back are equipped with LEDs. There are several tailgate finishes depending on which trim. The PRO-4X models have all badges with a Lava Red finish. This is a first for a Nissan.
Four new paints have been added to the Titan XD’s model year: Super Black, Baja Storm and Red Alert. To complete the exterior changes, new wheel designs have been added in sizes up to 20 inches. The infotainment system has a 9-inch touchscreen that supports both Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. The router can be used to connect up to seven devices.
The XD’s 5.6-liter gasoline V8 motor, which is the same as the 2020 Titan standard, produces 10 horsepower and 19 poundfeet (26 Nm) more torque than the previous model. It now generates 400 hp (560 Nm) and 413 lbft (560 nm). A new nine-speed automatic transmission replaces the seven-speed. It delivers more power and accelerates better thanks to a modified final gear ratio. We’re sure that you are aware that the 5.0-liter Cummins diesel engine has been discontinued.
Nissan’s workhorse has a wide range of goodies, including a 12-speaker and 485-watt Fender soundsystem. There are also over-the-air upgrades to improve the vehicle’s software. A dual-panel panoramic sunroof is also available, a first in the Titan XD class and the largest at more than three feet square. The 2020 Nissan Titan XD is available in five trim levels and four-wheel drive. It will be on sale in 2020
