These changes will be carried over to the Buick Regal U.S.

The Chinese Buick Regal was redesigned a little over a month ago. Now, the European counterpart is also getting some changes. Opel and Vauxhall have unveiled the 2020 Insignia. The exterior design changes have been kept to a minimum, so you’d need to be a Russelsheim fan to notice them. Although the front grille is most prominent due to its new design and chrome edge, it’s nothing to be proud of.

Mid-cycle refresh for the Insignia includes revised adaptive beam IntelliLux led headlights with 84 LEDs per cluster. There are also circular fog lights and an updated front bumper. The exterior changes are completed by the mildly modified bumper and the newly shaped tips of the dual exhaust.

We don’t have images of the interior at this time, but we know that the 2020 Insignia has smartphone wireless charging and an updated infotainment system featuring a new look for navigation. The facelift also included a new reversing camera. Opel will display the Insignia at the Brussels Motor Show, Belgium in January 2020. We’ll hopefully learn about any changes to the engine lineup. The Grand Sport liftback, Sports Tourer wagon are the only images. However, we expect to see the updated Insignia GSi later in the year.
