The V8’s 650 horsepower is not subtle.
Roush Performance, the aftermarket tuning firm that is well-known for its Mustangs and other Fords, now has a new truck, the 2020 Roush F-150 511 Tactical Edition. Roush has partnered with 5.11 Tactical to create the limited-edition truck. This company makes gear and apparel for first responseers and other enthusiasts. Roush will build 150 Ford F150 pickups in 2020.
The Roush F-150 5.11 tactical edition’s main draw is the extras, but you shouldn’t forget the supercharged V8 underneath. The mill produces 395 horsepower (294kW) straight from the factory. However, the Roush TVS R2650 supercharger increases that output to 650 HP (485kW) and 600 lb (813 Newton-meters). This is 200 (149) more than the previous model. Roush’s active exhaust system has four settings: Touring/Off-Road/Sport, Sport, and Custom. This power boost is possible.
The Tactical Edition wouldn’t be complete without tactical gear, and 5.11 Tactical delivers. The truck includes a 5.11 Tactical gear set that includes a multitool, duffel bag featuring Roush and 5.11 Tactical branding and range hat with USA flag patch.
Roush’s offroad suspension system is also featured on the truck. It features black 22-inch wheels with 33-inch tires. Roush has its own grille, and unique lighting signature. Fender flares with an integrity accent light give it more stance. Inside the truck is a custom gauge cluster and the U.S flag on the headrests. There’s also a serialized badge to identify the limited edition truck
Roush constructs the 5.11 Tactical Edition truck using Ford’s Lariat configuration. It can be ordered in black or gray. You supply the truck and you can purchase a 2020 Roush F-150 5.11 tactical edition pickup for $31,000. You have the option of a chase rack with dual lights bars to increase the cost.
